3C Bio uses a high-throughput automated robotic pipeline and RT-qPCR instruments to search for the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. After lab techs log in samples inside a BSL-2 hood, a group of laboratory robots prepare samples for analysis in 3 steps – Sample prep, RNA extraction, and PCR prep – which significantly reduces human error. This method can serve as the flexible input for any viral RNA analytical method.

  • This system can prepare 2,400 samples in the span of 24 hours and can be scaled up or down as necessary depending on the amount of testing required.
  • After robotic sample preparation, the prepared samples are placed in machines for rt-PCR RNA amplification and real time quantitative analysis.
  • Using this setup, the entire system is modular and can be retrofitted to use any type of test and analytical device to stay at the cutting-edge of diagnostics.
  • Our laboratories will meet both CLIA (USA) and ILAC (international) certification requirements.
  • Each laboratory contains a three-zone HVAC system with HEPA filtration and automated UV sterilization, self-contained water and redundant power systems, for fully autonomous off grid operation.
  • Power is supplied via dual generator systems, with full battery back-up, supplemented by 6kw of solar PV.
